More of your love stories

At the florist shop, I search the green plastic buckets bursting with soft pale carnations, vibrant roses, and delicate lilies. I want the perfect rose to give to my new love. My last stop is the Christian bookstore to pick up some valentines for friends. There I run into my former softball coach from the church league, a single man and clearly lonely.

As I drive away from the bookstore, I sense the Lord telling me to go back in and give the rose to him. I couldn't imagine giving away that rose. I planned this for days. And the trouble I went through to find the perfect one. I stared down at the pink floral tissue. It was for my savior. And no one else. Then it is clear, what I want to give to God, he wants me to give away.

Ada's opening in North Naples where Fresh Market leaves

Ada's Natural & Organic Foods Supermarket plans to open at Airport-Pulling and Vanderbilt Beach roads in 2008.

The 20,000-square-foot space in The Collection shopping center owned by Boca Raton-based Woolbright Development originally was planned for The Fresh Market, but the North Carolina-based grocer sued the developer and pulled out of the lease.

Ada's, which has supermarkets already open in Cape Coral and Fort Myers and another planned for Estero, is a specialty retailer of natural, organic and whole fresh foods, meats, fish and poultry, nutritional products such as vitamins, herbs and supplements, cosmetics and beauty aids, cleaning products and pet products.

“The signing of Ada's is a home run for residents in the surrounding community," said Pete Schlang, Woolbright's director of leasing, in a prepared statement released by Woolbright.

I need some advice here on what to do with a neighbor's dog, here is ...

About a month ago we got new next door neighbor's and they have a dog. This dog is a pitbull and is usually chained up in the backyard, even in bad weather he is out there with little shelter.

The problem is this dog gets loose and comes into my fenced yard and bothers my dogs. Today I could not allow my dogs off of our deck because he is out there. If I let them out onto the deck ( which is secure) he is at the gate barking and showing aggressive behaviors. There is no one home next door, they are gone all day and most of the nite.

Should I approach these neighbor's and speak to them about the dog? Call animal control and report a loose aggressive dog? Any suggestions would be appreciated...

A dirty secret about herbal pills could hurt you

During the past year, the FDA has orchestrated eight recalls of "herbal" pills that contained the ingredients found in Viagra, Cialis or Levitra, or their unregulated chemical cousins. •One recall involved a pill called Liviro3. The distributor said he bought the brand name and several thousand pills in 2004 for $450,000. In January, FDA agents seized his stockpile after a lab found that Liviro3 contained tadalafil, the main ingredient in Cialis. The man told the AP he'd had no idea the pills were drug-laced. •One prosecution involved V. Vigor Corp., the Long Island-based maker of Vigor-25. While the product was advertised as containing Asian ginseng, lycium fruit and Chinese yam rhizome, FDA testing indicated that the pills contained Viagra. •Two other pills, Spontane-ES and Stamina-RX, were made by companies run by Jared Wheat, who's facing federal charges in Atlanta that he peddled knockoff pharmaceuticals cooked in a Central American lab.
