| Nutrition Moves Up on Mom's Purchasing Agenda
HARRISBURG, Pa., Jan. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Nutrition has moved up on mom's shopping list, as three in four moms (74 percent) consider the nutritional content of foods they purchase for their children more now than they did two to three years ago, says a new survey from Ronzoni(R) Smart Taste(TM). Furthermore, two-thirds (65 percent) of moms are more concerned now compared to two to three years ago about their children's nutrition. However, the battle between nutrition and taste rages on as parents are actively seeking healthier foods they can be sure their kids will like. According to the survey of approximately 1,000 moms with children ages 5-17, nutritional content is the number one factor considered when buying grocery products for their children (27 percent), but mom's desire for nutrition is followed closely by her child's preference (22 percent).
Shortage of young (white) male doctors
Professor Don Roberton, head of Otago Medical School, said he would be reluctant to lintroduce affirmative action for men and says it's more important that doctors can cater to all patients' cultural needs rather than their particular ethnicity. He said there would also be a difficulty in identifying the white Anglo-Saxon Kiwi males, given our multicultural society. Medical Council chairman Professor John Campbell said more needed to be done to attract men into medicine. "Medicine may not seem an attractive career for many young men but I think it's tremendous as a career. I think we have to make sure that message gets across." However, Campbell said a quota was unlikely to be the answer. Medical Association chairman Dr Peter Foley said younger doctors wanted to work fewer hours than their predecessors, meaning two graduates effectively did the work of 1.5 doctors.

Michael Jackson No Longer In Neverland
Fox News is reporting that Jackson's Neverland Ranch is set be sold at auction on March 19. Jackson can keep his theme park if he can pay off $24,525,906.61 by that date. If not, a public auction will take place in Santa Barbara, Calif., in front of the county courthouse. Whoever buys the pile will take possession of the personal property inside, all fixtures and appliances, furniture, and "all merry go round type devices," any rides and games. Fans may wonder at the look on Jackson's face when his spiritual home is sold off. They may even want to get the look for themseves. But being a Jackson impersonator, as so many Jackson fans seem to be, and copying his face, is like hitting a moving target. The advice is to bury your face in your hands, or a sock drawer… Posted: 26th, February 2008 | In: Anorak In New York, Celebrities.
